There are no words to express my feelings and yours must be a million fold. She was a special little girl, we will cherish the times we had with her, even the nights that she woke everyone up during a night terror. You handled that excellently and you must both be aplauded with how you have handled this last 18 months and made this time for Kiera as special as was possible due to the circumstances. Maddies Dad, my brother David Hughes, called me in the USA today and told me that Kiera had passed away this morning. I never had the pleasure of meeting Kiera, but because of your love and dedication we have been able to keep up with events from America.

She was called away early and none of us know why, yet her courage, determination and love is so humbling and she is a beacon of light to us all.
